Wolf of the Month-Yahir Enriquez
YAHIR ENRIQUEZ - WOLF OF THE MONTH
Yahir is a 17-year-old junior. Yahir names Mrs. Sherri Ramseier (Language) and Mr. Daniel Weirich (Social Studies) as his favorite teachers. Yahir’s favorite subjects are History, Ag Mechanics, and Horticulture. Some of Yahir’s hobbies and interests outside of school include football, basketball, and working outside. Yahir names his older brother Erick as his role model and states, “Erick pushes me to try my best at whatever I am doing.”
When asked to discuss an accomplishment that he is proud of, Yahir responded, “I am proud of my athletic accomplishments, where I have been named All-Conference in both football and basketball multiple times.” Yahir’s future plans include “graduating high school and then going to college.” A piece of advice Yahir offers to his classmates is, “Sometimes life is hard - but whatever you go through, push through and strive for your goals.”
Mr. Johnson states, “Yahir is a very solid, reliable, and overall good kid. He has gained the respect of his peers and is one of our school’s leaders. Along with his many athletic accolades, Yahir always gives his best effort in the classroom. Yahir is heavily involved in the school and community, with just a few examples including athletics, Student Council, FFA and FBLA. Yahir is always willing to offer a helping hand, and we are extremely proud to call him an Idalia Wolf. Congratulations Yahir and keep up the good work.” Submitted by Myles Johnson, Superintendent
