Wolf of the Month-Kaitlyn Helling
Kaitlyn is a 14-year-old Freshman and High Honor Roll student. Kaitlyn’s favorite subjects are Agriculture, Math, and English. Kaitlyn names Mrs. Vlasin, Mrs. Ramseier, and Mr. Brown as her favorite teachers. Some of Kaitlyn’s hobbies and interests outside of school include “spending time with family and friends, being outside, reading, dancing, and seeing new places.” Kaitlyn names her parents (Janessa and Kevin) as her role models and states, “My parents are hardworking and compassionate. I love to spend time with them and am very thankful for all they do.” Kaitlyn shared that a “Fun-Fact” about herself is, “I have always loved to skate, whether that be roller or ice skating. Also, I have recently discovered I have a passion for skiing.”
When asked to discuss an accomplishment that she is proud of, Kaitlyn responded, “I am proud that I achieved High Honor Roll throughout Junior High.” When asked to discuss a future goal, Kaitlyn stated, “I plan to go to college and hopefully become either an engineer or interior designer.” A piece of advice Kaitlyn offers her classmates is, “There is no time like the present, give everything you have and take in what’s around you.”
Mr. Johnson states, “Kaitlyn is a wonderful young lady who is thriving both in and out of the classroom. She is a straight A student and has consistently been one of our school’s highest achieving performers on assessments. She is involved with athletics, FFA, FBLA, FCA, and other extracurriculars. Anyone who knows Kaitlyn knows she is about as solid of a person you will ever come across. She is extremely polite and friendly and her quiet, genuine personality is even keeled as she never waivers from her values. She is a great friend to many and a true leader by example for our younger students. Our school is very fortunate to have students like Kaitlyn and we can’t wait to witness all your future success! Congratulations on being names Student of the Month Kaitlyn!”
