Kylie names her parents, Brad and Andrea, as her role model and states, “My parents have shown me nothing but constant support. I wouldn’t be where I am now without the late-night homework help from my mom and motivational pep talks from my dad. I appreciate them more than they know.” Kylie shared a “Fun-Fact” about herself is, “I am the tallest in my family, even though Caleb refuses to believe it.”
When asked to discuss an accomplishment that she is proud of, Kylie responded, “I’m proud of achieving Co-Valedictorian of my class. It wasn’t something I intended to do from the start, but my hard work paid off, and I earned it. ” When asked to discuss her future plans, Kylie stated, “I plan to attend UCCS this fall and earn a degree in marketing. Eventually, I would like to start my own business.” Kylie offered the following advice to her fel-low students, “Keep focusing on yourself. It’s not selfish to put yourself first; it is something you have to do to achieve your goals. Also, always choose to be kind. Kindness will never lead you in the wrong direction.”
Mr. Johnson states, “Kylie finished high school with straight-A’s and a long list of academic achievements. Beyond her success in the classroom, Kylie was heavily involved in the school and community in a variety of extracurriculars and leadership roles. Kylie is intelligent, poised, friendly, and considerate. We wish you the best at UCCS this Fall and beyond and know you have made a positive impact on our school – we will miss you but are excited for your future adventures. Congratulations Kylie!” Submitted by Myles Johnson, Superintendent
