Wolf of the Month-Kiersten Wingfield
Kiersten is an 18-year-old Senior on the High Honor Roll. Kiersten’s favorite subjects are Yearbook, Art, and College Prep. Kiersten names Mrs. Cindy Soehner and Mrs. Sherri Ramseier as her favorite teachers. Some of Kiersten’s hobbies and interests outside of school include reading, drawing, arts and crafts, and playing basketball. Kiersten names her older sister, Kylie, as her role model and states, “Kylie has inspired me throughout my life to get out of my comfort zone and grow as a person.” Kiersten shared that a “Fun-Fact” about herself is, “I have an irrational fear of spiders.”
When asked to discuss an accomplishment that she is proud of, Kiersten responded, “I was accepted to Colorado State University and earned multiple college scholarships.” When asked to discuss a future goal, Kiersten stated, “I plan to attend CSU and eventually become a practicing veterinarian.” A piece of advice Kiersten offers her classmates is, “Never stop being interested in learning- no matter the subject.”
Mr. Johnson states, “Kiersten is an outstanding student and on path to be co-Valedictorian of this year’s graduating class. Beyond being a highly intelligent and hard-working student, Kiersten is involved and successful in many extra-curriculars beyond the classroom- such as FBLA and basketball to name just a few examples. She is very quiet, and her consistent and poised personality make her a great influence in our school. Kiersten is constantly polite and friendly to all she interacts with. Congratulations on being named Student of the Month Kiersten, and best of luck at CSU and beyond!”
