Wolf of the Month-Gabe Kechter

Gabe is a 15-year-old Sophomore Honor Roll student. Gabe’s favorite subjects are Agriculture, Math, and PE. Gabe names Mrs. Minor, Mr. Brown, and Mrs. Vlasin as his favorite teachers.  Some of Gabe’s hobbies and interests outside of school include “carpentry, working cows, watching football, and hanging out with family and friends.” Gabe names his parents (Brianne and Toby) as his role models and states, “My parents have always been there for me and have taught me how to be the best person I can be.” Gabe shared that a “Fun-Fact” about himself is, “I love sports, family, and Jesus.”

When asked to discuss an accomplishment that she is proud of, Gabe responded, “I am proud that I was selected as All-Conference and Honorable Mention All-State football last year as a Freshman.” When asked to discuss a future goal, Gabe stated, “I hope to win a State Football Championship and get straight A’s in High School, and then go to a good college.”  A piece of advice Gabe offers his classmates is, “These are the best days of your life so don’t take for granted what the Lord has given you!

Gabe was nominated by Mrs. Brophy who states, “Gabe is a wonderful young man who I enjoy having in class.  He is very hard-working, polite, and always willing to offer a helping hand.” Mr. Johnson states, “Gabe is an outstanding young man who greatly contributes to our school, both in and out of the classroom.  He is always very friendly, polite, and is a very hard worker.  Along with being an Honor Roll Student, Gabe is heavily involved in athletics, FFA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes among other extra-curriculars.  Gabe is a great role model for our younger students and has an incredibly bright future.  Congratulations on being name Student of the Month Gabe!”
