Wolf of the Month-Payton Terrell
Payton is a 12-year-old, High Honor Roll, 7th Grade student. Payton’s favorite subject in school is Agriculture, and she names Mrs. Sherri Ramseier and Mr. Brown as her favorite teachers. Some of Payton’s hobbies and interests outside of school include “hanging out with family and friends.” Payton names Callie Richards as her role model and states, “Callie is really smart, pretty, and a really good person.” Payton shared that a “Fun-Fact” about herself is, “I really love sports.”
When asked to discuss an accomplishment that she is proud of, Payton responded, “I’m proud that I earned High Honor Roll status, and I am also proud of some of my athletic achievements so far.” When asked to discuss a future goal, Payton stated, “I hope to graduate High School with a 4.0 GPA, get into a good college, and eventually become a nurse.” A piece of advice Payton offers her classmates is, “Always be kind and help other people out whenever you can.”
Mr. Johnson states, “Payton is an outstanding student who has a tremendous impact on our school. She is excelling in the classroom, where she is a high honor roll student, and is always incredibly friendly, polite and represents everything that an Idalia student should. Beyond her impressive performance in the classroom, Payton involves herself in other activities such as sports, Student Council, and Middle level FBLA to name a few examples. No matter what activity Payton is doing, she will fully commit to it and give it her all! Congratulations on being named student of the month Payton, you are doing a great job and have a very bright future! Keep up the good work.”
