Wolf of the Month-Tate Towns

Tate is a 17-year-old Senior and High Honor Roll student. Tate’s favorite subjects are Government and Agriculture, and he names Mrs. Ramseier, Mr. Brown, and Mr. Andrews as his favorite teachers.  Some of Tate’s hobbies and interests outside of school include “farming and working on vehicles.” Tate names his dad (Chad) and Grandpa (Dennis) as his role models and states, “My dad and grandpa have taught me everything I will need to know about life and farming.” Tate shared that a “Fun-Fact” about himself is, “My birthday falls on Groundhog Day.”

When asked to discuss an accomplishment that he is proud of, Tate responded, “I am proud that we made it to the State Semi-Finals, and nearly the State Championship game, this year in football.  I had amazing teammates and an amazing coaching staff.” When asked to discuss a future goal, Tate stated, “I plan to obtain a degree in Precision Ag or Ag Equipment Technology and use that knowledge to assist in operations on my family’s farm.”  A piece of advice Tate offers his classmates is, “Always make the best of opportunities that you get, not only in academics but in life.  Always give full effort.

Mr. Johnson states, “Tate is an outstanding young man that contributes so much to our school.  Along with being a High Honor Roll student, Tate is heavily involved in extra-curriculars, where he holds leadership positions in multiple organizations and is a captain for multiple varsity sports.  He is always extremely hard-working and levelheaded.  Tate is a great influence and role model for our entire school, and we will certainly miss his presence in the hallways and classrooms next year.  Congratulations on being selected as Student of the Month and best of luck in your incredibly bright future Tate!”
