Wolf of the Month-Tyler Hall
Tyler is an 18-year-old Senior on the High Honor Roll and straight A student. Tyler names Mrs. Cindy Soehner (Math/Science), Mrs. Sherri Ramseier (Language/StuCo), and Mrs. Janet Brophy (Business) as his favorite teachers. Tyler’s favorite subjects are Math and Science, specifically College Chemistry and Trigonometry. Some of Tyler’s hobbies and interests outside of school include “dad sports – such as golf, pool, cornhole, card games, and fly fishing”. Tyler names his dad (Tim), along with his Uncle as his role models and states, “These two are my role models for different, and extensive, reasons.” Tyler shared that a “Fun-Fact” about himself is, “I am the oldest student in the entire school this year and I am also currently considered a full-time college student.”
When asked to discuss an accomplishment that he is proud of, Tyler responded, “I am actually going to obtain my associates degree before I graduate high school. I am proud of this because it has been an intense amount of work.” When asked to discuss a future goal, Tyler stated, “My pipe dream is to graduate college as an aerospace engineer and work for Lockheed Martin on experimental military aircrafts.” A piece of advice Tyler offers to his classmates is, “True learning isn’t about memorizing facts and formulas. They key is in understanding the reasoning behind those facts.”
Mr. Johnson states, “Tyler is one of the most talented, gifted, and hard-working students Idalia has had in recent memory. Tyler is a straight-A student, and his intellectual curiosity is matched by his incredible intelligence level. Tyler has challenged himself by taking multiple college level classes throughout high school, earning high A’s in each, and his performance on the SAT ranks amongst the nation’s best. Along with his long-line of academic achievements, he is involved in a wide-variety of other activities, such as Student Council, golf, and volunteering his time to film to list just a few examples. Tyler, congratulations on being named Wolf of the Month, thanks for all your have contributed to our school and community, and know that you have an incredibly bright future!” Submitted by Myles Johnson, Superintendent
