Wolf of the Month-Wade Martin
Wade is an 18-year-old Senior and Honor Roll student. Wade’s favorite subjects are Anatomy and Horticulture, and he names Mr. Brown, Mrs. Ramseier, and Mrs. Stegner as his favorite teachers. Some of Wade’s hobbies and interests outside of school include baking, cooking, riding horses, fishing, and anything outdoors. Wade names his mom (Christina) as his role model and states, “My mom is a strong individual who can do anything and inspires me. She is my hero.”
When asked to discuss an accomplishment that he is proud of, Wade responded, “I am proud that I have been elected as an FFA officer two years in a row.” When asked to discuss a future goal, Wade stated, “I hope to go to college and become a Pediatric Nurse.” A piece of advice Wade offers to his classmates is, “Be positive and enjoy school and the times you have with your classmates.”
Wade was nominated by Mrs. Stegner, who states, “Wade is a great student – not only is he getting good grades, but he also works after school and on the weekends, he is taking a college class, has passed his CNA written test, and is currently studying for his clinical test.” Mr. Johnson adds, “Wade is a really good kid who is doing a great job both in and out of the classroom. He is always very friendly and polite to everyone, and his time-management skills are very impressive as he juggles many obligations outside of school. Keep up the good work Wade, and congratulations on being selected as Student of the Month!”
