Each year, the Colorado Association of School Boards (CASB) recognizes outstanding Board members across the State with the McGuffey Award. Both Ken Brenner and Kyle Kite were selected as recipients. Kyle and Ken’s time on the Board will come to an end in November after serving for the past eight years.
Ken has served on Idalia RJ-3's Board since 2013, and as Board president for the past six years. Ken's leadership has been instrumental for our school district. As an Idalia graduate and life-time resident, Ken is extremely passionate about Idalia’s community, school, and youth. He is a strong advocate for students and has made countless contributions to the betterment of our school and community.
Kyle served Idalia RJ-3 for eight years. As an Idalia graduate and life-long resident, Kyle's passion for Idalia is second to none. Along with serving on the Board, Kyle is heavily involved in the school and community in other ways such as coaching and volunteering to name just a few examples. Idalia is a better place due to Kyle's countless contributions.
